EPC (Engineering, Procurement,
and Construction)
Whether or not the client has the resources to manage and
oversea a project's execution, Propak's EPC approach, combined
with our competency and proven track record, will put the client
at ease with respect to completing a project on-budget, on-time,
and with un-compromised safety and quality.
With Propak EPC project managment group, Propak can take a
project from conception to operation, since we are a uniquely
structured, fully integrated company with the capability of EPC
turn-key project execution, including the projects:
- Design
- Engineering
- Procurement
- Equipment fabrication
- Installation
- Field construction
- Commissioning and start-up
Engineering Technology
Propak's depth of engineering expertise, puts
us at the leading edge of technology development in
the oil & gas industry. Propak is an industry leader
in natural gas processing and treating technology,
as well as heavy oil SAGD processing.
Gas Processing Technology
Propak is a leader in the design, engineering, and
manufacture of LPG and NGL extraction plants, utilizing
cryogenic turbo expander technology for natural gas
liquid recovery and separation. For LPG recovery
(extraction), Propak can offer state-of-the-art,
patented, process technology for cryogenic turbo
expander LPG recovery plants, effectively and
efficiently achieving 99.6+% propane (C3) recovery. |
 |
Propak's proven technology for LPG extraction from
natural gas has many distinct values which sets it apart
from other LPG turbo expander type process technologies:
- relatively low capital cost
- lowest specific energy requirement
- flexible to changes in gas conditions and
composition for stable operation
- easy to start-up and operate
Every design that Propak proposes or recommends to
our client is offered based on our design innovation:
- to minimize capital cost
- increase product recovery
- minimize operating costs
- maximize clients' return on investment
Heavy Oil SAGD (Steam-Assisted-Gravity-Drainage)
Propak has the capability to execute heavy oil
projects from conception to completion, with our
in-house process and mechanical engineering expertise
and our full EPC capabilities. We engineer and
manufacture SAGD
central processing facilities, plus SAGD well pair
satellite packages and gather surface facilities.

Modularization
Propak Systems is a leader in the design and use
of modular design concepts. Our expertise in using
this modular approach has proven to be an effective
method that minimizes overall project costs,
improves project schedules, and allows for a more
thorough inspection in a controlled environment.
Modularization concepts are preferred based on the
following advantages:
- Each system is custom designed with
transportation limitations for each project
location
- Improved quality due to manufacturing in
controlled conditions with a highly experienced,
permanent work force
- Reduces field construction costs in adverse
construction environments
- Improves the long term value of equipment,
since it may be easily moved to a future
location
