282 MMSCFD Canadon Alfa (Argentina) Turbo-Expander Plant


Project Description

A 280 MMSCFD Cryogenic Turbo Expander Plant (expandable to 425 MMSCFD), operating at –80ºC it is designed to recover LPG at 98% propane recovery. The major process equipment includes: Inlet Separation and Slug Catcher, three (3) tower Molecular Sieve Dehydration Unit, Mercury Removal Unit, a multi-core Brazed Aluminum Heat Exchanger, 5100 HP (3810 kW) Turbo Expander, Deethanizer Unit, Debutanizer Fractionation Unit for 9500 BBL/D C3/C4 LPG and 2400 BBL/D C5+ gasoline products, LPG Product Storage and LPG Export Pumping Unit, two (2) 8600 HP (6440 kW) turbine drive multi-stage centrifugal Residue Gas Compressor Packages, 60,000,000 Btu/hr Hot Oil Heater and Heat Medium System, 565 MMSCFD Horizontal Flare System, Fuel Gas System, Utility Systems, Fire Protection System, and DCS Control System.
