Project Description Propak Systems constructed this facility for Shanghai Petroleum Corporation (SHPC), which is a state owned enterprise. SHPC developed the Pinghu Oil and Gas Field, which is loacated in the East China Sea approximately 365 kilometers, southeast of Nanhuiizui in Shanghai. A 14 inch Subsea Gas Pipeline 386 kilometer long for Gas Transmission supplies the Gas from the Pinghu Offshore platform in the East China Sea to the Natural Gas Processing Plant at Xingang Town in Shanghai. The design treatment capacity of 1,600,000 m3/d can supply natural gas continuously to the Pudong New Area as household fuel. The Plant also produces LPG and light hydrocarbon liquid products.
